On Friday, May 18, 2012, athletes of all abilities will gather to tackle the high Colorado desert in World T.E.A.M. Sports' sixth annual Adventure TEAM Challenge, sponsored by Alteryx.
The event kicks off Friday with registration and team orientation in Fruita, Colorado, west of Grand Junction in the high desert. The following two days will take the athletes deep into remote canyons, rafting the unpredictable waters of the Colorado River, ascending dramatic peaks and mountain biking through beautiful red sand deserts before completing the race on Sunday.
Adventure TEAM Challenge participants include disabled and able-bodied athletes, working together to overcome challenges and successfully complete stages. For many participants, simply completing the stages is an accomplishment.
You are invited to register teams and participants online - World T.E.A.M. Sports will promptly invoice team captains the event registration fee - teams that do not submit their full registration fee will not be permitted to compete.
Team members may choose to individually fundraise to support the Challenge and World T.E.A.M. Sports. Our non-profit organization changes lives through outdoor sporting activities such as the Face of America, Sea to Shining Sea cross-country ride and the Soldiers to the Summit events for wounded warriors. |
